Ears Infections
The ear is a delicate part of the body which is suseptable to ear infections. Ear infections are quite common in young chidren.
To understand more about ear infections you need to understand that the ears are made from three sections: the outer ear, the middle ear and the inner ear. A small tube,the eustachian tube, connects the middle of the ear to the back of the throat and nose. This is the area of the ear that we open by flexing the jaw, yawning or swallowing.
Most childrens ear infections get better without any treatment, but if you are in doubt of the seriousness of the problem you should always contact your doctor.
