Genital-warts
Genital warts also known as condyloma acuminatuma are highly contagious warty growths that can be found on both the external genitalia and anus. The condition is caused by the human papilloma virus and is transmitted by sexual contact.
The infection is usually benign however; some forms of genital warts may increase the risk of cervical cancer.
The presence of genital warts is often accompanied by other sexually transmitted diseases. Therefore, it is advisable to seek medical attention immediately. The warts are treated by freezing or burning them off with corrosive substances.
