Foot Speed Drills

Having fast feet for any sport will benefit your game, these foot drills should be used on a regular basis throughout your training to gain speed in your foot movement.

Always make sure that your body is warmed up prior to performing these movements, as even though most of the foot drills will require very short movements, your aim is to work at speed and as such their is a greater risk of muscular injury - perform a good warm up, stretch and mobility exercises for the ankle and knee joint.

Similar to working with plyometrics, your foot drills will benefit with short burst of high speed work, followed by sufficient rest.
