Gym Aerobic Equipment
One key element to getting a healthier body is to perform regular aerobic exercise, but which is the best piece of gym equipment for you and how do you use it.
The following videos will help you with the basics that you need to use the most common pieces of gym cardio vascular (heart and lungs) equipment.
If your not sure how to use the gym equipment correctly, as there are so many different makes and models, don't be afraid to ask either a member of staff on the gym floor, or a personal trainer (if there not with a client).
Aim to work a different selection of gym aerobic equipment, you don't need to sit on the bike for 30 minutes, you can do 10 minutes on the bike, 10 on the treadmill, 5 on the rower and then 5 on the stepper.
You can also mix and match the time, doing shorter sessions on each piece of aerobic equipment, then repeat again, i.e. 5 minutes on 4 different pieces of gym equipment, but repeat twice. By doing this you will find that you actually can work harder and as such gain better results whilst removing the boredom factor.
Don't be afraid to sweat as all gyms will let you carry a towel and most of them now have showers. Take a water bottle, taking regular sips of water throughout your workout to remain hydrated.
I always find listening to my own music helps, as the music choice in some gyms or the noise of class instructors can put you off going.
